Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serres

The Serres Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a local organization of businesses and companies in Serres with the intention to develop and further the interests of local companies and businesses in Greece. Founded in 1947, has approximately 10.000 members and consists of three sectors: Trade (3.600),  Manufacturing (1.400) & Services (5.000). It operates as an Official & Institutionalized State Consultant for the promotion of local development issues. Serres Chamber's main activities include: Recording, Study & Service in decision-making Centers (Government, Region, Institution, etc.) of the current socio-economic status of Serres, Submission of Proposals for the county development as part of the overall development of the national economy, by demonstrating the comparative advantages of Serres, Interventions & Memoranda for solving local entrepreneurship problems (eg cross-border illegal trading, descending progress of the secondary sector, low investment  incentives etc.).
SCCI has participated in various projects in the past including (indicative list): Learning Community”, “EMPLOCOMP”, “ENACT”, “ENTRE+GB” “SKILLS BALANCING.
