The central idea of the project is the improvement of the conservation status of the prioritized plants in the cross border area, using;
- research activities for the prioritization and conservation of the endangered flora species,
- the development of conservation structures involving digital applications and infrastructures and 
-  awareness and education actions that will outspread the importance of these flora species and the flora biodiversity as a whole.

The expected outputs are:
1a. The setting of the targeted flora species in the cross border area 
1b. The in situ collection of the species with joint botanical expeditions in both coutries 
1c. Documentation of the collected plants
1d. Setting of propagation protocols
1e.Established of the plants in protected nurseries and monitoring of their growth
1f. Research for the connection of these species to municipal urban green spots for the creation of a small network of pocket parks. 
2a. Two GIS applications presenting the results of the previous documentations
2b.The development of a low altitude multipurpose nursery in Thermi, an infrastructure for biodiversity exhibition in Belchisko Swamp Area, a demonstrative urban botanic park in Kardia and the provision of equipment for fire protection in the National Park of Galicica Park.
3a. Two awareness data bases and apps that will be used for distant educational missions
3b. Four training seminars to targeted population of both countries (municipality staff and volunteers)
3c.The development of an awareness and monitoring centre in the Botanic Garden of Kroussia, 3d. Four college students’ competitions (one scientific and one artistic) in both countries
3e.Actions for biodiversity education for school students in both countries.
