Interreg 30 years Project Slam! Open Call!

THE INTERREG 30 YEARS PROJECT SLAM
To celebrate the “Interreg 30 Years” anniversary, European Commission and Interact are organising a series of events throughout the year. The “Interreg Project Slam” is one of such events, organised by Interact, within the European Week of Regions and Cities in October 2020.
This year we invite all Interreg programmes to participate in the “Interreg 30 years project slam” and celebrate the anniversary of cooperation by showing, in an entertaining and innovative way, the story of different Interreg projects. The objective is to find the best project practices, and to present them both in social media and during the live final performance. The theme of the project must fall within the 3 themes mentioned in the section below.
Participation is open to all Interreg programmes and projects, including Interreg IPA-CBC and Interreg ENI CBC programmes, of any programming period. However, if the project is from the previous programming periods, it needs to be sustainable and still relevant today.
Based on the received applications, Interact will invite 6 projects (two per topic), to perform live in Brussels in the Grand Finale of the “Interreg 30 years project slam”.

THE 3-STEPS APPLICATION PROCESS
(guidance and training with an external expert will be provided for each step)
STEP 1: Join the storytelling webinar on 8, 9 or 14 April 2020 and receive technical support for your application.
Choose one of the following dates (the sessions will be recorded and access will be provided to all applicants):
- Wednesday 8 April 2020 (10:30 - 12:30 CET) - registration link
- Thursday 9 April 2020 (14:30 - 16:30 CET) - registration link
- Tuesday 14 April 2020 (11:00 - 13:00 CET) - registration link
STEP 2: Produce a written story using our template and submit it before the deadline
Deadline to send your story is 25 April 2020
STEP 3: Produce a 2 minutes video for social media, jury members and the Interreg community (for the shortlisted projects only)
Deadline to produce and send a 2 minutes video is 22 May 2020
