The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Ohrid watches closely the changes in the area of tourism and service activities for 48 years.
It is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the tourist area in the Balkans. It introduces changes into the study program continually as well as into the way of work. The faculty includes six active programs of studies that can enroll new students. Three study programs in the field of tourism and hospitality include the following:
-Tourism;
-Hotel and Restaurant Management;
-Gastronomy

The other three study programs are:
-Customs and Freight forwarding;
-Insurance;
-Management in serving sector.

FTH – Ohrid has 967 active students. There is a close cooperation with the World Tourism Organization and many other national and international institutions and organizations in the field of tourism, insurance, customs and freight- forwarding and culture. FTH - Ohrid has signed bilateral cooperation agreements with educational institutions from Poland, USA, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Germany, Slovenia and other countries.

Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality - Ohrid is involved in several international projects in the implementation of the European Credit Transfer System, Balkan network for higher education, TEMPUS Programme, Regional Cooperation Joint European Project, ERASMUS Mundus, ERASMUS Basileus, USAID, and IPA Cross Border Program Greece- The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, 2007-2013, IME Program of Swisscontact and others. Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality - Ohrid from 2011 until today is a member of the European Foundation "La foundation pour la formation hôtelière" based in Geneva.

International exchange of academic staff and students is realized within the Erasmus + programme supported by the European Commission. The FTU Ohrid organizes summer schools with the participation of students from different countries of Europe, as well as professors from various EU countries and professors and assistants from universities in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The faculty so far has been the host of 13 international conferences where participants from over 20 countries from several universities and relevant institutions have published their scientific research. The premises of the Faculty of tourism and hospitality – Ohrid are in a total surface of: 2.877 m2
