Kick off meeting in ALTER TRIP project

The kick-off meeting of the project ALTER TRIP: Alternative Touristic Experience took place on Tuesday 12th October 2021, in Thessaloniki. The project is co-funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Programme “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014 – 2020” and national funds of the participating countries. The project beneficiaries include the Business & Exhibition Research and Development Institute (LB- PP1, Greece), the Ministry of Interior, Sector Macedonia & Thrace (PP2, Greece) and the Association of persons with physical disabilities of Bitola, Demir Hisar and Resen - MOBILNOST Bitola (PP3, North Macedonia).
The main goal of the project is to enable the transformation of a territory into an accessible and inclusive tourist destination and support the sustainable development of heritage tourism in the CB area to provide quality services to tourists with special needs. During the kick-off meeting, the consortium discussed the means on successfully implementing project activities and ways to maximize the beneficial effect of project outcomes. The next project meeting will take place in spring 2022, in Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia.
