The project’s main output is the support of 12 new businesses creating thusly at least 12 new job positions and supporting tourism employability in Veles and Florina.
More, in particular, the project’s outcomes include:
1. The redevelopment of the Vardar/Axios riverbank in the Veles Municipality
2. The installation of 7 kiosks at Vardar/Axios riverbank that will host supported businesses
3. A Study of Value Chain Analysis for the Arts & Crafts sector and potential for sustainable tourism development in the cross-border area (CBA)
4. A resource centre for Tourism in Florina that will support the implementation of the project and will also be used as a co-working centre for supported businesses after the project.
5. A specialized educational toolkit addressing the needs of arts and crafts tourism entrepreneurs in the CBA
6. A joint tourism capacity seminar to support new tourism entrepreneurs, focusing on - Business skills, Development of new businesses, Responsible tourist, Development of local value chains and digital skills.
7. A series of masterclasses on arts and crafts that will focus on extending the local value chain in the sector. The masterclasses will focus on traditional crafts and the utilization of new technologies (3d printing, milling etc.) for customized and personalized memorabilia.
8. Support for new businesses. Seven (7) businesses in Veles will receive support by being hosted in the riverbank kiosks for a year. Three (3) businesses will receive a grant and three (3) businesses will be hosted in the Resource centre for six months.
